Ann Turnoff is a prominent South Florida cantor, educator, and musician who served at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton for 20 years. A classically trained pianist and member of Actor’s Equity, she is also Director of the Mark Center for Jewish Excellence. Known for her work in musical theater, Ann now focuses on b’nai mitzvah preparation and cantorial services, bringing warmth, experience, and artistry to every community she serves.

Cantor Jessica Ferrari, Ann’s daughter, served 12 years as cantor at a Reform synagogue in Jupiter, Florida. An accomplished vocalist in synagogue music, jazz, folk, and contemporary styles, she has performed widely across the U.S., including with the Joe Scott Trio, Peter Yarrow, and members of Gloria Estefan’s Miami Sound Machine. Jessica is also a licensed psychotherapist (LMHC), bringing a psych-spiritual approach to wellness and a deep sensitivity to interfaith family life, with spiritual leadership grounded in inclusivity and care.
