Special Screening: Nuremberg

  • Telluride Jewish Community Telluride, CO United States (map)

Just days after International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join us for a special screening of Nuremberg, a powerful film that brings the legacy of the Nuremberg trials to the big screen and deepens our understanding of justice, memory, and truth.

Following the film, we will present a brief 5–10 minute videotaped conversation featuring Jack El-Hai, author of The Nazi and the Psychiatrist (the book on which the film is based), Katie Triest, a Telluride local and granddaughter of Howard Triest, the American translator featured in the film, and moderator Stephanie Rosen, founder of 3G Miami. Together, they explore how real lives became cinema and how the legacy of the Holocaust and the Nuremberg trials continues to shape our moral world.

Where: Palm Theatre
When: January 31, 6–9 PM (Doors at 5:30 PM; film begins at 6)
